Why we publish quarterly financial reports
The Financial Administration Act requires federal Crown corporations, including Canada Post Corporation, to publicly release their quarterly financial reports within 60 days of the end of their first, second and third fiscal quarters.
Each quarterly financial report contains:
- A discussion of the interim financial results, risks and significant changes in relation to operations, personnel and programs
- A statement of management responsibility for interim financial reporting
- Interim condensed consolidated financial statements for the quarter and year-to-date, with comparative quarterly and year-to-date information for the preceding fiscal year
