Posted in Closures and service interruptions
As of November 14, 2013 Canada Post has not received any official communication from Philippine postal authorities, the UPU or international transportation suppliers to indicate that letter or parcel delivery in the Philippines is suspended.
However it is reasonable to expect that damage to infrastructure and the accompanying strain on transportation networks in the region will cause delivery delays.
Due to the circumstances, Canada Post has suspended the on-time delivery guarantee until further notice for Xpresspost™ – International items and Priority™ Worldwide items sent to the Philippines on or after November 8, 2013.
