Closures and service interruptions

NOR-PEL Inc. employees in Atlantic Canada represented by the Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW) continue to strike. NOR-PEL Inc. employees provide delivery and pickup support services under contract to Canada Post. They are located in Cape Breton NS, New Glasgow NS and St. Stephen NB.

The situation is ongoing. There is no parcel delivery or pick up services today in Sydney, Sydney Mines, Glace Bay, New Waterford, and North Sydney and mail delivery will be limited in these and surrounding communities.
