Severe flooding in Nova Scotia continues to impact Canada Post’s collection and delivery services in the province. Collection and delivery operations resumed on Tuesday, July 25, in areas where it is safe to do so. Most post offices also reopened.
The company has issued a yellow alert for Nova Scotia, with mail services unavailable in some areas due to safety concerns or access issues.
Canada Post continues to assess the situation and its options to best serve the people of Nova Scotia and keep them connected. As we do that, the safety of our employees continues to be our number one priority. We will continue to provide updates as the situation evolves.
If customers have questions regarding mail delivery, they can check our Delivery service alerts webpage or contact Canada Post’s Customer Service team online at canadapost.ca/support or by telephone at 1-866-607-6301 (TTY: 1-800-267-2797).
