Closures and service interruptions

Damage from severe flooding in Nova Scotia continues to affect Canada Post’s collection and delivery services in parts of the province. We continue to assess the evolving situation and all options to best serve the people of Nova Scotia and keep them connected. As we do that, the safety of our employees continues to be our number one priority.

While we have resumed operations and reopened most post offices in affected communities, there are some areas that continue to pose access and safety issues for our employees. Customers in those communities are invited to pick up their mail at the following locations:

• Newport : Newport Post Office (7760 Nova Scotia Trunk 14, Newport, Nova Scotia)
• Bedford : Atlantic Superstore (1650 Bedford Highway, Bedford, Nova Scotia)
• PO Boxes at our Post Office in the Bedford Place Mall : Atlantic Superstore (1650 Bedford Highway, Bedford, Nova Scotia)
