Information you can request

Info Source is a publication containing information about all Government of Canada departments, its organization, and information holdings. This includes those of Crown corporations such as Canada Post. Info Source helps members of the public to exercise their rights under the Access to Information Act and the federal Privacy Act.

Requests under the Access to Information Act

The Access to Information Act (ATIA) allows access to Canada Post records for:

• Canadian citizens
• Other people who are present in Canada
• Corporations that are present in Canada

Get a copy of past records released under the Access to Information Act or view summaries of the monthly records.

How to make an Access to Information request

1. Complete the Access to Information Request Form

   Download and complete the Access to Information Request form.

2. Include your application fee

   Each request must include a $5 application fee by cheque or money order payable to Canada Post Corporation.

3. Mail your form and application fee to:

   Access to Information Directorate
   Canada Post Corporation
   2701 Riverside Drive Suite N1160
   OTTAWA ON K1A 0B1

   or

   Email your form to:
   ATIP_AIPRP@canadapost.postescanada.ca

Requests under the Privacy Act

Requests under the Privacy Act may be submitted by:

• Canadian citizens
• Other people who are present in Canada

The request must be made by the person to whom the information relates or their duly authorized representative.

How to make a Privacy Act request

1. Complete the Personal Information Request Form

   Download and complete the Personal Information Request form.

2. Mail your form to:

   Access to Information Directorate
   Canada Post Corporation

   OTTAWA ON K1A 0B1

   or

   Email your form to:
