You may continue to receive mail if the items are ones we can’t hold, or if the names on the mail don’t match those on your Hold Mail service. Here are some things you can do to solve the problem. If these solutions don’t resolve the issue, please use an option below to report the problem.
Here is what you can do:
-
Check if the items you’re receiving are ones we can’t hold
Hold Mail service is for mail, such as letters, but not parcels or packages. We are also unable to hold prepaid envelopes and newspapers and flyers delivered by other parties. Review Hold Mail service limitations for a full list of items that can’t be held. -
Check your service dates
Check the service start and expiration dates on your original receipt or confirmation email to verify that your Hold Mail service start date has passed and that the service is still active. If the Hold Mail service period has ended, you will need to purchase it again. Sign in to your account. -
Check the names on your order
- Ensure the names of all mail recipients are listed on your Hold Mail service
- Ensure all names are spelled correctly and that there is an exact match between the names listed on the service and the names addressed on your mail
- See Making changes to Hold Mail to learn how to change the names on your order
