How do I pay my commercial account?

As a business customer, you can pay your account in several ways:

    Pre-authorized payment

A pre-authorized payment is a convenient way to make automatic payments on your invoice due date.

We offer 2 options for pre-authorized payment:

    Pre-authorized bank payment (PAP)

A pre-authorized bank payment (PAP) allows us to automatically debit your bank account on the invoice due date. PAP accounts have Net 30 payment terms.

    To apply:

Download and complete a pre-authorized bank payment application form

    Pre-authorized credit card payment (PACC)

A pre-authorized credit card payment (PACC) allows your credit card to be charged when payment is due. Amounts will be automatically charged on the invoice due date. Accounts on PACC have Net 7 payment terms.

    To apply:

    1. Call the Credit Management Group at 1-800-267-7651
    2. Select option 3
    3. Provide your Canada Post customer number and tell the customer service representative you would like to sign up for pre-authorized credit card payment

Online payment through the Canada Post Website

If you’re signed up for Manage My Account, you can also register for online payment meaning you can pay any invoices directly from the Manage My Account (MMA) tool. Payment will be withdrawn from your bank account. Manage My Account also gives you access to view the status of your account and get PDF copies of invoices.

To sign up for Manage My Account and online payment, fill out one of the following forms:

To apply for a commercial account:

Download and complete the online payment application form

To apply for a retail account:

Download and complete the dealers’ online payment form

If you already have access to Manage My Account and are set up to pay online:

    1. Sign in to Manage My Accounts.
    2. Select the transaction you want to pay.
    3. Transfer the money directly from your bank account. The money will be transferred on the next business day.

Please note: If you already have a pre-authorized bank payment set up, the bank account used for online payment must be the same. If you already have a pre-authorized credit card payment set up, online payment isn’t available.
