Here are some technical tips and resources to help you with Canada Post’s free desktop shipping software, EST 2.0.
Proxy server
When you install EST 2.0, you will be asked if you are using a proxy server. Ask your network administrator for guidance on whether one is in place or required.
Security
Transmissions from your computer to Canada Post are secure. EST 2.0 uses Secure Socket Layer (SSL) 256-bit encryption.
Scales
If you are using a scale supported by EST 2.0, the weight of your items will be automatically transmitted to EST 2.0 when you select ‘Refresh weight.’ You can also manually enter weight into EST 2.0.
Import and export data
